National Trust – Grain to Glory
Wheat Wreath Making and Corn Dolly workshops.
This year Winchester City Mill are celebrating the theme ‘Grain to Glory’. To honor the relationship between land and product we will be offering two straw workshops. Winchester City Mill uses wheat from New House Farm 7 miles North of Winchester; using traditional machinery and the natural power of the river Itchen produces their own unique stoneground wholemeal flour.
We too will be using the same wheat for our workshops.
Both workshops will be running on the same day so you can choose to book for both to give yourself a full immersion in these age old traditional crafts.
