Round Willow Baskets - Two Days | 24th -25th Feb 2024
2 Day Course
Time: 10 am - 4 pm
Venue: The Studio, Hurst Barns Hampshire GU34 3PLG
On this two-day course, you will progress through the process of making a round-based willow basket. Choose from either a single-wrapped handle or integrated finger handles.
With a relaxed atmosphere and companionship being part of the course, you will get tuition to suit your skills allowing you to produce a beautiful basket with many practical uses. Weaving techniques will include waling, French and English randing and we will be using buff and brown willows.
This is a course suitable for beginners but also for those wanting to develop existing skills.
Cakes and drinks will be provided throughout the weekend.

This is a course suitable for beginners but also for those wanting to develop existing skills.

Please bring sharp secateurs if you have them and wear old clothes.
Bring a packed lunch and we will provide drinks and cakes throughout the day.
